Three weeks across the island: the Funchal wine lounge, European Folklore Week, the concerts in the vineyards, and the Live Harvest at Estreito de Câmara de Lobos — dated, sourced and shown with their years.
Dates on this page are the announced ones for 2026, 2027, and 2028, and every one is shown with its year. That is deliberate: the commonest error online is a day-and-month line copied forward from a previous edition.
Programme detail on this page last read July 27, 2026.
The Wine Festival runs on two levels at once. In Funchal it is a lounge on the Praça do Povo with tastings and regional music for most of three weeks. Outside Funchal it is the harvest itself: the Live Harvest at Estreito de Câmara de Lobos recreates the traditional picking and treading, and it is the single day that fills the roads above Câmara de Lobos with parked cars.

For one of the years covered, the calendar’s Concerts in the Vineyards line prints an extra date that falls out of sequence and after the festival’s own closing day. It is not carried here; the dates that fall inside the published window are.
